PAD 11

What's happening

As part of ongoing maintenance and rectification activities, pavement remediation works will be undertaken along sections of the Augusta Highway between Beaufort Road and Middle Range Road. These works are necessary to further strengthen the pavement surface, ensuring a smooth and durable road for all users. Crossovers lanes are being constructed to safely redirect traffic and enable the pavement remediation works to be carried out.

How this affects you

Work is being undertaken on the Augusta Highway between Beaufort and Nantawarra. Until Friday 19 December 2025, traffic will temporarily use the Adelaide-bound carriageway, with a single lane in each direction. Reduced speed limits will be in place (see map below for details).

From Monday 5 January 2026 remediation works will continue on the northbound lanes with intermittent lane closures and speed restrictions (see map below for details). This arrangement will be in place until late February, weather permitting.

Works will be undertaken Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm.

Access to properties will be maintained, with advanced notice provided if temporary restrictions are required.

We are aware of the importance of road use during upcoming harvest season and will work closely with local landowners and freight operators to help facilitate safe access and egress to properties and paddocks as required. Should you have any questions or access requirements, please call us on 1300 161 407.
